Lung function testing in a new age; opening the way for new dimensions

ndd has developed the UPG method of measurements for diagnosis of lung conditions applying TrueFlow and MolMass.

UPG is used in screening devices as well as for high end differentiation of lungs conditions of different kinds for example Asthma, COPD and Emphysema

UPG is measured under normal breathing conditions and free of the difficult to coach patient cooperation as required for spirometry.

UPG is the subject of international evaluations being presented at major respiratory events such as ATS, ERS etc. by recognized opinion leaders including Robert Crapo, Robert Jensen, Yoshinosuke Fukuchi, Michael Goldman, Monika Gappa, Heinrich Worth etc.

The application of UPG is already realized in the ndd EasyOne UPG. EasyOne UPG is being used for broad data collection in different world wide sites, in studies and most importantly in the BOLD studies for the GOLD awareness of COPD programs.
